ABOUT SOUTH WEST LONDON DIVING
Born to Compete
Take one person's passion, dedication and dream, sprinkle in a helping hand from others along the way, add a few ambitious children, a lot of hours and a couple of keen parent volunteers, and Congratulations team... South West London Diving is finally here!
We are extremely proud to introduce our new club name, South West London Diving. We have grown four-fold over the last year and couldn't have done it without our fantastic supporters along the way. Thank you!

Our aim as a club is to foster a passion for high-calibre divers and coaches within a friendly, fun and team-focused club environment.

Our divers range in age from 5 to 17, and from casual to skilled, with some now taking on coaching and leadership roles. Our divers are working up the British Diving Pathway and we are looking to expand both the wet and dry training programmes to support our divers in becoming their confident best.
Development of our coaching team is critical to our success and we strive to support our coaches to fulfil their own best potential and ambitions.
We work in conjunction with Putney Leisure Centre and use their facilities in London Borough of Wandsworth, South West London. Their diving pit is equipped with a 1-metre springboard, a 3-metre springboard and a 5m platform, as well as basic dry-land equipment.

We also enjoy a close working relationship with Dive London, the regional Talent Development Centre for diving, allowing our divers semi-regular access to dive and dry-land train at the London Aquatics Centre in Stratford.

We owe a great deal of thanks to Putney Leisure Centre (PLC), Wandsworth Swimming Club (WSC), Wandsworth Borough Council, our parent volunteers, and of course, our Head Coach, Melinda Matyas for nurturing the diving programme to the point where we have finally been able to establish a viable and sustainable diving club for South West London today.
